Welcome,
The Georgia Firefighters Clown Society
was established in 1991 by a group of firefighters clowns from all over the state of Georgia. The society is a non-profit organization, with a growing membership state wide.
The Executive board is elected
by the members of the society and is the governing body. Elections are held annually. The officers are dedicated to the growth
and goodwill of the Society.
As clowns, puppeteers, robot operators, we teach fire safety, burn prevention, and anything
which is related to public safety. We focus on teaching safety messages to school age children. We have coloring books with
clowns and safety messages on each page. These coloring books are distributed to the children so they can take the message
home after viewing and taking part in safety activities.
Members of the society are mostly firefighters, but anyone
who is dedicated to teaching public safety can join. Our goals are to save lives by teaching the public safety messages in
a fun and entertaining way, and to give support to burn survivors and centers. We also support organizations which help with
public safety.
Thank you for your interest in the GFCS.
